Jeff, you got inside my head with this. I feel that, too. The world feels unsettled and I feel like Chicken Little some days...waiting for the sky to fall!
Having been without "comcast" for 2 weeks, can honestly say the peace and quiet wasn't bad .... then the world was back in my face ... good job!! BUT it better be loud to drown all of them out!
Beautiful verse, Jeff! Perfect for the prompt, too. Your verse expresses perfectly, the thoughts that I tried to convey with my little prose-story. But your text says it better!
Masterful. *bows*
ReplyDeleteBravo! Well said and I'm sure felt by many!
ReplyDeleteGreat job !
ReplyDeletePerfect harmony would be so wonderful if peace reigned over the whole earth...it starts with the individual and is taught at home first !

I complain about the silly songs that are sung out there, but they sure lighten the mood around our house.
ReplyDeleteLove it!
