Happy 4th of July!...and The Winner Is...

Happy 4th of July to all!! This is the day to announce the winner of my 1st Annual Blogaversary Prize Giveaway.
There were nine entrants, and a total of 20 separate entries, with four of you entering all three times. I really appreciate all your hard work in selecting favorite photos, posts, and the wonderful poems and haikus.
Mrs. C and I put all entries on bits of paper, and put them in a red, white and blue bucket. Mrs C proceeded to select the winner, with her eyes closed, of course. The accounting firm of Price, Waterhouse and Coopers kept the winning entry in a safe place...for about 5 seconds:-)
Without further ado...the envelope please...and the winner is...
Christy!!
Christy's entry was a fantabulous poem...

My first visit here was months ago,
I followed a link and was amazed at the show.
The pictures exquisite,
the information sublime.
Tennessee Mudbug will always be a favorite of mine.

Thanks to all of you for your exquisite participation. As you can see from the photos below I was quite busy last night. I have mixed some abstracts in with some conventional shots. I have a special sauce that I use for my abstracts...Enjoy!
and again...HAPPY 4TH OF JULY!!
