Yellow Redux...whY not?

We are nearing the end,
with two letters to go.
But before we reach Z,
we must stop at Yellow.

Well that was then,
and this is now.
If Jenny sees this repeat,
she'll have a cow.

Yellow Redux...why not? When I did this Y post, I seriously did not do it in anticipation of Rainbow Colors...seriously. I hope you will find something new that you missed before. And can one ever get enough yellow? I like the color Yellow. It is not only pleasing, it is quite ubiquitous. It is an integral part of the color palette of one of my favorite regions, the American Southwest. We were once traveling in New  Mexico and had planned to stay the night at the El Rancho in Gallup. If you are ever there you should by all means check it out...better yet, check in... to this neon splashed vintage, 1930s motel built especially for the  movie stars and film crews who frequently visited the four corners area for movie shoots.
Well, we were headed down Route 66, and as often happens after a brief rainstorm, we spied a beautiful double rainbow. I love everything about Route 66 and beautiful rainbows...a memorable experience, and one I may never forget.

So take a peek
without further ado.
Yellow...pleasing to me
I hope for you too.

This post is done as a part of our weekly Alphabe-Thursday summer routine, Rainbow Colors. Please visit Alphabe-Thursday where you will find many dozens of infinitely interesting posts.
